Wiffle Ball

World Series of Wiffle Spring 2010 Tournament
Compete against other Wiffle afficionados in a tournament format ! Teams consist of two players—a pitcher and an outfielder. The two opposing hitters swing for the fences on our 90–foot regulation-size Wiffle field. No base running—hits, outs and scoring are determined by the distance a batted ball travels on the fly. Hitters can also strike out and walk. Umpires, balls and whoopin’ sticks provided. Competitive division: Throw as hard as you want! Recreation division: pitching is medium speed—no flame-throwing, but you don’t have to serve up meatballs. Fee includes lunch.

Registration deadline: Thur., April 15
Ages: 16 years and up
Date: Sun., April 18
Place:  U.S. Cellular Community Park
 Time: 10 a.m.
Cost: $30 per team
Min. 4 teams; Max. 6 teams per division
